|Emily Mortimer the best thing about the film.|
Written and directed by Brad Anderson Transsiberian (2008) had the potential to be a good movie but unfortunately it disappointed. The film boast’s a very experienced cast that included a miscast Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer as his wife Jessie a strange dark character who is never fully explained. Ben Kingsley plays a Russian narcotics detective; Eduardo Noriega and Kate Mara is a young couple that are never what they seem. Roy (Harrelson) and Jessie are Christians travelling from China to Moscow on the legendary Transsiberian express train. They meet a mysterious couple Carlos (Noriega) and his enigmatic girlfriend Abby (Mara) that leads to deception and murder. It’s not only the train that twists and turns in this good looking but un-involving thriller.
